Blush Bridesmaids Dresses (source)
Believe it or not last week was not the first time I have posted about weddings here on Sparkles and Shoes despite being engaged for less than two weeks. Not only have I had a wedding Pinterest board for years (it has more than 1,600 pins) but I have also shared posts about weddings I have gone to in the Bahamas, Charleston, Sarasota,Stone Harbour, Detroit, and my hometown of Rye, New York. And to take it one step further, I have actually posted a few times about my hypothetical wedding – I wrote a post in August 2014 called 10 Wedding dresses I love and another in January 2016 called planning my dream wedding (and I was not even dating anyone). A little overboard, yes I know, but weddings make me happy and now that I am a bride to be, I get to look at it in a whole new light.
Over the weekend I have re-evaliated at my Pinterest board with a new found appreciation. Here are some of my favourites as I now look seriously for inspiration. And unlike most of what I most on Sparkles and Shoes that is organic content as these are not my photos (the original source is linked under each photo) the quality is varied but hopefully you can still get a sense of the various types of shots that have been catching my eye, my latest wedding inspiration:

Make sure you enjoy the day and take time to reflect how lucky you are.
If it doesn’t go perfectly according to plan, remember, you are the only one who knows the whole plan and don’t let little things bug you. Something is bound to go wrong. Just enjoy the day and roll with it. Never let them see you sweat.

Some of those dresses are stunning. It’s amazing the assortment of these days of dresses and brides tastes.
The designers must have fun coming up with new looks each year.
