Because Pinterset Said So

How is it Monday already? I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.  After being in Florida for a wedding (here and here) the weekend of the 14th it probably would have been in my best interest to take it easy this weekend but instead I attended a black tie gala, a clothing swap, the Georgetown alumni game watch, brunch with my co-workers, wine and paint, and a sushi dinner with my friends.  Whew, that was a ton just to type.  I will be sharing more about this weekend’s activities later this week but for now, my some of my Pinterest style inspiration. 

I had not read the blog Pinterest  Told Me To until I got an email from RewardStyle that Sheaffer was one one of their top earners. When I stopped by her quirky fashion blog I immediately understood why it is so popular and it got me to thinking, as I browse Pinterest I often come across adorable outfits that pin to my Style board but do I ever take it a step further?  No. But why not?  If I really like the outfits why not try to recreate them with pieces already in my closet? I have gathered up a handful of outfits that inspire me and plan on trying them out in the next few weeks:
