Welcome to the start of a new week and a post that my husband came up with the title for. It is accurate and straight to the point, yes, but I would argue a bit more interesting. I had the chance to work with Photowall for the third time and we have really spruced up the art in our apartment. In case you are not familiar makes top-quality wall décor ranging from full wallpaper murals and custom designs to prints and posters. My first piece was a framed print of Waterlilies by Claude Monet which is above my dresser and the second was the Godafoss Waterfalls canvas which we had custom made to fit over our bed.
As they say third time’s the charm because not only did we get three new pieces from Photowall but they also gave me a discount for Sparkles & Shoes readers, you can use the code kelly15 to get 15% off and free shipping on any item!
The first two pieces we picked out are in our spare bedroom, sometimes called the office, sometimes called the workout room and sometimes called the peloton room but all of them mean the second bedroom in our flat. I really liked how it was originally set up but in the Spring we started removing furniture and rearranging to make into a nursery but sadly, that was not to be. There was something not right about changing it back so for the last few months it was just stuck in limbo – you can see a photo below. I am really happy with how this full guest room refresh came together thanks to the two prints; Watercolor Harbor Study and Watercolor Harbor Study II:
Why those prints in particular? Well, there is this little thing called marriage and since Mark is my forever plus one he was consulted in this art overhaul. Having grown up sailing and still having a strong love of the water they were some of the first he pointed out as we went through thousands of options. I like that they are muted but still bring a great pop of color to the room and are not too matchy-matchy. And for the third print, we got something quite different, a framed map of London. We both agreed on this print called London Map III with its arial view, lack of text, and the black and white motif. It goes quite well next to our TV, don’t you think?
Like I mentioned, we went for the print version but if we owned the flat I might have been tempted by the wallpaper, how cool is this London Map III wall mural? (Remember, these murals which you can custom order to fit your wall are also included in my discount code kelly15.)
The company was such a blast to work with, they are kind, responsive, the shipping is incredibly speedy and their artwork is great quality. Hopefully I will work with the again in the future but in the interim, is calling … 15% off + free shipping on any product with the code kelly15? That’s a GREAT deal.
What do you think of these Photowall prints?

Funny, my girlfriend is just moving in a few days and she will have a lot more wall space…I am going to let her pick out a piece for her new apartment.
The perfect housewarming gift and then she can get the right size!!

Going to check this out. So great you can get things to fit the space that you need.
Perfect option for apartments that have very specific space issues.
