Welcome to the fourth instalment of our apartment tour, today featuring our terrace. In case you missed it you can see the first three posts in the New London Flat series here; Living Room Tour, the Master Bedroom Tour, and the Guest Bedroom Tour. One of the things we liked most about this flat was the massive balcony that extends the entire length of the flat. The doors extend out on to it from the guest room, the master, and from the open plan living room kitchen area. In total it is just over 60 feet in length and nearly 10 feet wide.
With this much space it took us a while to figure out the best way to decorate it while still making it usable and in no way blocking the view. Below I will link the furniture first and then the greenery for those items that are available to purchase:
And for those items I am able to link, please find them below in alphabetical order, most of which are available in the United Kingdom and nearly all of which are available in the United States! If you are looking for something in another country, drop a note in the comments and I will see what I can do:

Lavender Trees | 60cm Lavender Tree for Patio Planter

Being a plant (and now tree) owner there is a lot of responsibility and to not have this post go on too long if there is interest I will share a bit more about how we acquired some of these green beauties and how we are keeping them alive (it is more dirt, tools, 3, and gadgets then you might think!). And because not everything is going to be a win, we have picked up two things that have not gone well – the handle snapped in half of the outdoor garden broom we bought and while we were excited about the BOLWEO Solar Powered String Lights as there is no outdoor lighting nor any outlets and despite our best efforts have never gotten then to work! Alas, we will have to try again soon! And I will leave you with a few shots of the sunset off our balcony:
What do you think of our outdoor space?

Very Impressed. I wish I had a terrace like yours. I be having dinner outdoors every day in the summer as long as its not raining and using the peloton outdoors all the time. I see that you have been putting this to great use.
