Welcome to the second Fashion Friday of 2021! Unlike last week’s festive look shot in sunny Florida this one is a bit of return to basics. At the start of the Fall I rearranged our guest room to put my desk in front of the window. Even though each day had less and less daylight it made a big difference and one of the positives of January is that the shortest day of the year has passed. (In December a London night is nearly 17 hours, oh so much darkness).
The reason I bring this up is as you can see from the photo above today’s look is brought to you from my home office. As the temperature hovers near freezing I have found myself turning towards knitted tops and this animal print one gives a fun pop on video calls. I am not going to link the exact sweater below as it is currently sold out but I found a cute alternative that looks nearly the same! And if the shoes look familiar you last saw these purple suede booties in this post over the summer and I really love how they pop against both black tights and bare legs. Take another view at my work from home style:

Nice set up.
Is the photo on your computer a place you have been too? If so, where is it. So cool looking!
Will hopefully need to plan a honeymoon soon so scouting locations.

What a great little workspace! I find that when I am working from home that if I put on a ‘real’ outfit I feel so much better!

You are just so cute and glad to see that those dimples are alive and well.
You look super professional and I bet everyone enjoys being on calls with you as you seem so bubbly and upbeat never mind adorable to look at.

Nice cheery spot you have looking out of your sliding doors. Good lighting is always a plus for me and I try to get outside as much as possible.
Cute outfit too and I always try to get dressed so I feel like I am at work!

Totally approved. Such a chic work from home style. For me I have been reduced to traveling to work 1x a week. Sometimes I dress up while working for home. More likely in the summer than winter. It all depends on where I am going later on. I have to at least wear Jeans and sneakers with a nice top to feel productive. When I know a zoom call is coming I am ready. Tonight I have a small home birthday party to go to. So I have a chance to show off my sweater dress with high heel open toe ankle booties because its not too cold today in NYC.
