Channeling Sporty Spice in rag & bone

Hello and Happy Friday! I am excited to bring back Fashion Friday here on Sparkles of Shoes like I did last Fall with a new outfit post every Friday.  (Here is last week’s in case you missed it)  For Christmas I got this new rag & bone dress and decided to take this monochrome the cuter, more casual look that I am sure I will be sporting more of in 2017 trading heels for sneakers, making this a true full day look. And an amusing fact to me, the dress is actually styled with black sneakers on the rag & bone website. Well there we go! (I got mine during the latest Shopbop sale).

Now I think it it is pretty clear this shot is in stark contrast to my recent social updates – yes, I am currently in New York where the temperature is hovering around freezing and yes, there are palm trees in these photos. I took these at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples a few weeks ago and this is how I styled the dress for a day about town in sunny Florida with my mom. Of course, in wintertime now throw on a pair of black tights and switch the Nikes for black snow boots are you are all set!

I am planning on wearing this look again soon and have my fingers seriously crossed I will get to go to the rag & bone show next month during New York Fashion Week!
