Welcome to the latest edition of Really Love My …, a series where I feature the most loved pieces in my wardrobe. In 2019 I shared on my annual birthday wishlist that I wanted an All Saints Leather Jacket and my then boyfriend, now fiancé, got me the AllSaints Dalby Leather Biker Jacket my birthday in September of that year. This jacket essentially replaced one that I had worn for the past four seasons and was a much needed upgrade. If you have been around Sparkles and Shoes a long time you may recall my post Cupcakes and Cashmere Vegan Leather Jacket. I had purchased this jacket from Shopbop and it quickly became a favorite, so much so that a few years later I featured it in this post, Really Love My … Vegan Leather Jacket. Well that jacket has taken a back. seat thanks to this All Saints Leather Jacket.
This new jacket is definitely an upgrade from the first – real, thick, warm, structured, classy with just a little bit of rock and roll. AllSaints makes dozens of kinds of leather jackets – many of which are – but trying them on a handful at the AllSaints flagship store in London I found my match. The Dalby jacket is buttery soft to the touch and while it fits a bit snuggly to start I found it stretches to become perfectly form fitting. It hits on the upper hip unlike so many cropped mottos that seem to be all the rage and I really love the silverstone hardware. Take a look at the different ways I have styled it and places I have worn it – even for a pandemic year, in the last 16-months I have worn it in Austria, England, Egypt, Hungary Italy, and the United States.
Looking back I am still surprised I do not have more photos in this jacket given the frequency with which I wear it but there will be more to come! As I was putting this post together over the weekend I asked Mark if he could remember more times I wore it that he photographed and he asked “your new one or the one that’s falling apart”, haha. Glad he is referring this one as the new one – still in phenomenal shape after 18 months and I am sure for many years to come.

My go to accessory is my leather jacket. I am amazed sometimes how often I grab it on my way out and how many outfits it really compliments. Wasn’t sure when I bought it if I would get enough wear out of it but I really do.

Lovely jacket, especially the way you style it. I can see why this jacket is one of your favorites. As for mask pictures I refuse to take a picture with a mask on. Even if I am indoors. Boyfriend meanwhile was a bad boy yesterday. He walked into a store, maskless and was promptly shown the door. I shopped and he stayed outside.
