This Year’s Birthday Wishlist

Today marks the one month countdown until my birthday and I while I usually wait until September to start talking about my birthday this year, we are going to start a bit early.   It is not a big birthday but that does not mean I do not get excited the closer it gets to September 27th.  As we are now only a few weeks away I have put together a list of things I would not mind to receive, not at all 🙂   Unlike past wish lists this is an even mix of physical items and experiences, ranging from $34 to $800, take a look. 

(1) Custom Stationary | In m early and mid 20’s I hit a grove and was excellent about writing thank you notes and I would really like to get back on that.  Granted, sending mail from the UK to the US is nearly £1 but there is a very special touch about a hand written card that an email, no matter how thoughtful, really can not beat.  I used to have great custom stationary and a new set would definitely help with this goal.  (details)

(2) Soho Farmhouse Spa Day |  Located roughly two hours outside of London I have old heard rave reviews about the Soho Farmhouse.  Both friends and colleagues have come back from spa days or weekend escapes to this country estate and gushed about their dozen treatment room rooms, their amazing experience in the ice room or how lovely their steam and sauna was.  From the treatment menu so many things jumped out at me but I would be more than happy with a Bespoke Facial, Deep Tissue Massage, and a Cryotherapy treatment.  And as if it could get better, they also have a pool! (details)

(3)  Chelsea Wine Show   | As I get older I love learning more about wine, that is not to say I am going to buy the most expensive bottle in the shop but it is fun getting to know more about the millions of varieties and slowly but surely being about to pick out a name or two on a restaurant wine list.  In October there is the Chelsea Wine Show where a ticket for the day will get you unlimited tastings from wines around the world and admission to masterclasses – yes please! (details)
