April showers bring May flowers? Goodness I hope so because I am really over this near freezing rain. On overcast days when it is not raining, however, I have been sporting my new Cupcakes and Cashmere leather jacket. This piece is one of the latest additions to my wardrobe and I love it, a detailed faux-leather jacket with a vented peplum hem.
I picked up this cupcakes and cashmere Caitlyn Vegan Leather Jacket at the most recent Shopbop sale and the slightly flared back is exceptionally flattering both when the off center zip is closed or when the jacket is worn open. When purchasing this jacket I ordered two sizes and while the medium fit, I decided to go with a large so I can still wear a thicker shirt underneath for chilly days.
A have already received a few complements on this vegan leather jacket and I think one of the reasons is because it looks like it might have cost $500 when the retail price is $145 only and I scored it for $116 during the promotion. I have never owned a jacket with ribbed-knit insets but I like the detail running down the both sleeves – it adds an extra pop of character.
The black one seems to be sold out on Shopbop (they still have it in taupe) but the jacket I am wearings is currently available from Amazon. If you are looking for a great Spring jacket, I highly recommend it.
Have a great week!
