Once upon a time if I knew I was going to be taking outfit photos for the blog the only acceptable footwear would have been heels. Fast-forward five years and here I am posting photos of me wearing sneakers and NOT in a workout look. ** insert shocked emoji face here *** . But it is true, you grow older, you grow wiser, and I would like to think, I listen to what you all say. And the most feedback I get on my outfit posts is while you like a super glam look every once in a while, you are more curious to see what I am wearing on a day to day basis. Well, here it is.
I wore this look when we were traveling around Belgium last month – a combination of trying to be cute and also comfortable when 10+ miles of walking is on the agenda. The sneakers are a true classic and I paired it with a look I would usually wear to the office or anywhere else (just with cute booties). And it should be no surprise this is the bag I used – do you recall the Really Love My … Longchamp Tote post? We had a great time exploring Brussels that day as you can see from the photos below, taken in some of the cities most iconic locations.

Cute dress. Some dresses you can pull off with sneakers. Others not. This one yes. As much as us women love heels sometimes you have to give your feet a break.

Looks like a really comfortable dress to bop around in. Also won’t show the dirt if you need to sit on a park bench or a stone wall wall you are taking a break from your sight seeing or having a picnic break.
You look great as always. I always feel like I look so frumpy if I am sightseeing for a long day and have to wear flat shoes and might get my nice clothes dirty. You make it look easy.
