Friday, oh hello, nice to see you and welcome to the second installment of Fashion Friday! Last week I showcased what I would wear to a fancy wedding and now I want to take it much more casual. Every fourth Summer the Olympics is 16 days of the Olympics is pure happiness for me and today’s outfit is inspired by our wonderful national colors and in support of all of the Team USA athletes bringing home gold!
Now it is true, I like to stay up on the latest fashion trends and am very excited that the September issues of magazines have started to arrive but I did read an article recently that I did not agree with. It said that, “patriotic stripes” that are really only something you can wear in the month of July and I have to say, I just disagree. Sure, there are some red, white, and blue looks that are truly only suited for the first weekend in July but other than that – I love the combination of red, white and blue year round, especially for a low key summer evening!
