Welcome to Sparkles and Shoes second post on nude pumps. The first is from October 2012 and here cataloged how I wanted to buy a more expensive pair. While I do not think they need to be super pricey I still stick by what I said – nude pumps are a wardrobe staple and if you don’t have some I highly recommend putting a pair on the top of your shopping list.
Over the past year and a half I have tried on at least two dozen pairs of pumps from kitten heels to ones that I could barely take four steps in before I was about to fall. The problem, I have since realized with nude pumps, is that as you become tan and then pale the shoes do not match quite as well. The average pair, I have found, are a shade of creamy-blush-beige that tends to be universally flattering – one you find a shade then pick a shape and a heel height and you are good to go.
