Hello from sunny Florida! Thanks to a last minute decision I got to spend Easter with my family in Naples yesterday and will be here through tomorrow working from home. * cue happy dance * I am glad I was able to head down on Friday night and even though I have been here less than 72 hours I have identified one piece of my wardrobe that is definitely missing – a gorgeous pair of nude strappy sandals. Two ladies at brunch yesterday had complemented their bright Spring dresses with the most beautiful nude sandals and I loved how great they looked together.
Yesterday, however, was not my first revelation about these shoes, they have been on my radar for quite some time. I actually ordered what seems to be the fashion bloggers must have, the Steve Madden Stecy heels, pictured below, and I was quite disappointed when they did not fit.
Now that the most popular option in the category is out, and it is a shame because I ordered two sizes too, it is on to Plan B. As I continue to look though I am asking myself a few questions; patent, suede, or smooth leather? Beige or nude color? And how much do I want to spend? All good questions and ones that I may not be able to answer until I try them on in person. With that in mind I have been looking nude sandals from both Zappos and Nordstrom as they have free shipping both ways on all orders. These are the pairs currently in my cart are:
Schutz Cadey-Lee in Lightwood $170
Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong in Adobe Aniline $398
Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong in Nude Cork $398
Sam Edelman Eleanor in Buff Nude $110
I am leaning towards an order containing both the leather Schutz and the cork Stuart Wietzman options to see which fits better. And in case they work for you try out the Steve Madden Stecy in Natural Smooth, at $79 they are definitely one of the most affordable pairs out there.
Do you have a pair of nude sandals?

Nude shoes aren’t really my thing but some of these are very chic, remind me of Louboutin a lot!

I love all of these nude high heel sandals. Sorry the Stecy heels didn’t fit you in either size. As for me I have mid heel 3.5 inch tan high heel sandal and a 6 inch platform nude sandal. Love them for Spring/Summer. They make any outfit pop.

I had the same problem with the Steve Maddens! It sucked because normally Steve Madden shoes fit me so well and are super comfortable. I love those cork ones – you also can’t go wrong with the Sam Edelman ones at the bottom!

I always love how these look on other people, but I don’t think my feet would be able to tolerate them. Forever bitter about it lol!
