Happy birthday to my big girl, Lily is TWO! We may have shifted from Lily monthly updates to Henry monthly updates but I am not going to miss this chance to share about my not so little, little girl. Before we get going, take a look at her first birthday post – such a difference!
Lily is a very expressive little girl but we are not quit at the stage of talking yet where a birthday interview would be effective verbally. Thus I am sharing her answers to 10 questions as I know them and hopefully from age three I will be able to post her exact answers!
1. What’s one of your talents? Just one?!? Dad’s answer is two arm cuddles and Mummy has a trio – singing, dancing, and making people happy.
2. What’s your favorite animal? Turtle (Dad) and Unicorn (Mom).
3. What do you like to eat? Yogurt, tomatoes, banana, chicken nuggets and any type of berry.
4. What do you love to do? Color, play, slide and swing in the park, clean things, and spend time with family.
5. What do you want to do when you grow up? A professional organizer or cleaner.
6. What’s your favorite toy? (thing). Her small monkey Jellycat along with turtle the bath thermometer (eye roll), Most recently she has been quite fond of carrying around a purse.
7. What’s your favorite song? The Wheels on the Bus and We Are the Dinosaurs.
8. What’s your favorite movie? Not big on TV but Mum and Dad are trying to push Moana or Frozen.
9. What’s your favorite book? “Bedtime for Zoe” from the Lovevery Babbler Play Kit along with Hands are Not For Hitting and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? (specifically the lift the flap / slide and find version). Earlier in the year the Gruffao and Llama Llama Misses Mama were favorites but those have faded out.
10. What’s your favorite TV show? Same as above, not really into TV but if she does watch it will be something from Cocomelon on YouTube.
