I was a little girl that dreamed about my wedding dress and that same little girl dreamed about one day having matching outfits with her daughter. And that day has come. Consider me a lucky, lucky lady. And this is the first Fashion Friday matching with Lily Harper of what I hope will be a new series on the blog, how fun would that be?
These photos were taken in Nashville during our trip earlier this year wearing I was matching with Lily in the twig blue wrap dresses from the Diane von Furstenberg for Target collab. My dress is made of a very stretchy sweater knit and Lily’s from a very comfortable and breathable cotton. Take a look at how we each wore our DVF X Target dresses.

Cute looks to and very flattering and looks like the fabric is really soft and woud travel well. How has it held up in washings? I know with my little one that stains are everywhere!!

I didn’t know that DVF made matching outfits for mommy and me. So many of the matching outfits are so pricy that I have avoided them so it is great to know that there is an option.
You too look so cute and I bet you got a lot of compliments. Very flattering and are they as comfy as they look? Also how do you find the washing. My little one is so messy and I have found so many fabrics just can’t get clean.

Lovely Mommy and daughter dresses. Perfect for Fashion Friday. Love the blue belt, pink bag and cute flip flops. Boyfriend took me to city streets on Saturday and we rode our bakes from Foley Square to Harlem and back. Saw the forecast and was there very early. Foley square DJ was nothing short of awesome. Came back home to Brooklyn rested and showed up and went back to the city for the Battery Park City Festival at night. Show was awesome. Next day had to drag boyfriend early to the Ferry to Rockaway to the beach. Got in the water up to our waist. Wave action was awesome due to hurricane. Got changed out the water eventually. Had to have bikini time at some point during the weekend. Just beat the rain home Sunday too. Today in office wearing little white dress with Killer blue high heel sandals.
