Welcome to the first Fashion Friday of March! One of my favorite things about London are the museums – the variety and the price *usually free) can not be beat. While I have been to hundreds in my life time I actually did a quite Google to remind myself of the defintion of the word museum, “an institution dedicated to displaying and/or preserving culturally significant objects” and that tis a great way to put it – good job, dictionary.
Mark and I recently took Lily to the British Museum which features thousands of years world of history, from the British isles to the far corners of the earth. When I was in Egypt a few years ago our tour guides made a joke that in Rome that there are more Egyptian obelisks in the Italian capital now then there are in the whole country of Egypt and the British museum feels a bit like that. My brother is fond of the joke, Why are the pyramids in Egypt? Because they are too big to transport to the British Museum. #truestory. But to wrap up the bit on the museums for now, these photos were taken in the Queen Elizabeth II Great Court where the glass ceiling stands more than 60 feet above the floor.

You can never go wrong with black and white.
Never seen a sweater like this before and I can’t decide if I like the ruffle or the pom pom type embellishment better but I know I would love to add this little number into my wardrobe.
