Six weeks of having a newborn means the idea of sleep is a joke. No really, it is comical. On average I am getting 5-6 weeks of sleep but that is very broken and is very hard to get used to. And while I am adapting to this change, I need all of the coffee.
Lily and I try to get out of the house everyday but my mornings need coffee. Today I am sharing this post I have had this coffee maker for nearly two years and it’s great. You may recall this Nespresso Vertuo Chrome by Breville featured in my post Best Purchases of 2021. However as 2021 was a rough year and then I was pregnant with Lily for nine months coffee took a back seat for quite some time. That said I have now regained the love and the ability to drink it (in moderation).
After nearly two years of being at home I have tried so many different coffee options and while I wish I had been someone with enough patience to french press everyday, alas, I am not so this machine with its dozens of flavoured capsule is perfect. (I am so jealous for those of you who are looking into getting one now – the Nespresso Vertu is currently 25% off at Target marked down to $165 from the regular price of $220!
As you can see in the photos above I am partial to the Carmel Cookie (now called golden carmel) and the sweet vanilla flavored coffee. However, I have heard great things about the Nespresso x Starbucks range. Perhaps the next time I am back in the US I will have to pick up a box or two as they do not seem to be readily available in England.
Have you ever tried a Nespresso Vertuo?

I still prefer my kurig but I’m happy to give this a try. Some of my friends swear by this brand.
