Jean Shorts: Denim Edition

There is something about jean shorts, or jorts, that just screams Summer. As I switched over my wolly hats and gloves for shorts and flip flops this past weekend I grabbed a handful of shorts. however, I am going to be nice to myself and not try and squeeze into my pre-pregnancy shorts right away, thus I am on the hunt for a new pair. After looking at more than a dozen brands I decided to break today’s post into two parts – denim colored jean shorts for summer and then a second edition featuring all of the black and white options. And for today, I have split my finds into ripped and non-ripped denim shorts, let’s get started!

There you have it, 12 pairs of cute denim shorts with no rips, holes, or frayed edges.  However, I know the clean-cut look is not for everyone.  In putting together this post I was reminded of one I published in 2014 called 8 Trends You Will Never See Me Wearing where I listed ripped jeans.  This is still true, I do not own a pair of ripped jeans and do not planning on wearing them any time soon.  The same is true with jean shorts. That said, I know many of you like them so here are another dozen pairs of jorts in all sorts of ripped states:
