Black and White in Kensington

The end of the week has arrived but to be honest, it hits a bit different when you are on maternity leave.   This is my first Fashion Friday in months and my first up to date one in even longer. Mark shot these photos in the adorable London neighborhood of Kensington last month. It may look familiar as the snaps were taken at one of the Wisteria locations I featured a few weeks ago in this post. On our long walk I’m wore my favorite AllSaints Leather Jacket, featured in my really love my series here, but took it off for the majority of the photos as the weather was quite nice.

This balloon-sleeve nursing dress is from the H&M nursing collection which I have been pleasantly surprised with. Most maternity lines, at least those available in England; are combination pregnancy and nursing pieces. While these are definitely good to have most of them look sack-like once you Jo longer have a bump. Thus I’ve been on the hunt for pieces that are nursing friendly with some sense of structure but certainly not fitted as I’m still holding on to quite a few extra pounds.

I was going to keep this looks entirely black and white, even my diaper backpack is black, but last minute grabbed my Gucci soho bag for a bit of color. This was one of the there times in the whole month of April that I put on real clothes, fourth trimester is a real thing and fitness clothes have been my go-to. I have not shot any other outfits recently but hope to soon as my number one photographer, my Mom, is in town!
