Welcome to the first Fashion Friday in a while! I am sure you noticed that my trip to The Loire Valley was very active but the weekend before and the weekend after we went to Paris. It’s a magical place and even though I’ve been to the French capital the only time I had been to Montmartre was during my 2018 solo trip. It was freezing and at the time the church was closed. Thus my visit last weekend was the polar opposite – a sunny day with my family and us and where I got to not only visit the inside of the church but also got to climb to the top of the dome.
After this visit we went on a chocolate tour around the hilly 18th arrondissement which is a spectate post coming soon but I mention it because I had to plan my outfit accordingly. I had taken outfit photos at Sacre Coeur once before, you can see them here, but having my husband take photos is much better than a tripod. Take a look at this snakeskin at Sacre Coeur look:
Jacket | AllSaints Dalby Leather Biker Jacket
Dress |
Sunglasses | Bag |
Belt | B-Low The Belt Nadia Belt (similar) Shoes | Office Flick Retro Tassel Loafers in Black Leather
And two family shots:
This dress is sold out nearly everywhere but that makes sense as it’s nearly three years old. The last time I featured this dress two and a half years ago I called in python and that is the actual name of the dress on the website but I beg to differ. The color is listed as “sand” and today I am going to call it snakeskin, a bit more of a generalization plus it goes with the title, don’t you think? And I would be remiss not to to mention the shoes. I was influenced by the Londoner to get them and for a year they have been a go-to staple plus you all must too as the tan version of these shoes made it in the March 2022 best sellers.
What do you think of this snakeskin at Sacre Coeur?

Anything snake skin is a winner with me
Love that you can dress it up or down and pair it with black, brown, red or ivory.
That dress with black tights and a pair of high boots and a black belt would be killer.

Such a cute photo of you way up in the tower overlooking one of the peaks. Those dimples and you look so pretty and happy.
Love the area and looking forward to hearing about the chocolate tour. My kind of “Touring”.
Yum yum… and and btw, nice dress and I especially like it with the leather coat over it.

THe dress looks really comfortable and I am sure it packs well too and goes with just about everything so I could call it a really good choice.
Pretty pictures too!

Yes I remember this dress from 2020 when you styled the dress with those killer high heel sandals. This time you had walking shoes for comfort. Perfect fall/spring dress for when its not too warm or cold. I prefer the heels look but for long walking the flat shoes are better. Outfit works well for Sunday Brunch or office day. Speaking of office day I had a nice jumpsuit with killer heels ready for today but because of rain here its jeans, crappy sneakers and sweater look. For office I change the sneakers for my nice ankle boots. The jumpsuit/heels for the office will just have to be another day.
