I have a thing for animal print and while I usually gravitate towards leopard this is my first python piece. In real life I absolutely detest snakes (though not as much as I loathe bats) but I think this print is really fun. While the fabric may look silky it is actually polyester but quite breathable and lightweight plus it is machine washable! And while it does not have any stretch the dress is still moveable thanks to the side slits.
The actual product description from Shopbop suggests that you can dress it up or down, it |goes just as well with low-key sandals as it does with strappy heels” and I would tend to agree as long as they are in the right color palette. I decided to style it with nude, gold, and pearl accessories which you can see below and I have linked all of the items – I particularly love the pearl bobby pain / hair clip number (plus the three pack is only $12!).
