Welcome to the latest Wedding Wednesday! It is hard to believe next month it will be one year since I wore a white dress and said I do but October 30th is right around the corner! One of my favorite moments from our special day was our sparkler exit. There are numerous photos on my wedding Pinterest board that I used for inspiration but planning had quite a few factors involved. The first was how many sparklers we needed to buy and what size they were. The second was what time in the evening we wanted to do the send off – I did not want it to be the very last thing as I knew guests would leave before the last song and I wanted to do the send off before our photographer ended. The third was how to get everyone outside the venue to participate.
For the first I did quite a bit of research and decided to purchase 36 Inch Wedding Sparklers from Grand Wedding Exit (no sponsored). I chose these because they are the largest and longest lasting sparklers for weddings which when lit emit gold light. We got the pack of 96 to match our guest list of near 100 people and with sparklers that were three feet long would last long enough for them to all be lit, us to exit, and us to still get great photos.
As you will be able to see from the photos below we were able to get the majority of our guests outside on time and I love how many people were around for our sparkler send off. Planning ahead is what really allowed this to happen – before the big day we gave everyone the timeline with a planned 10pm sparkler send off off and at 9:55 PM had our band leader make the announcement and then our wedding planner round everyone up.

Sparkling Sendoffs are so much fun. We did that for my boyfriends cousin wedding earlier this year. To me its the perfect ending. By the way Happy Early Birthday. I believe its tomorrow.
