Welcome to the latest edition of Wedding Wednesday! It has been a bit of time since I have shared an update from our big day but I have hundreds of photos to share and late is better than never. I have a dozen categories still to go; behind the scenes, my dress, Etsy purchases, Father / daughter moments, the food, best gifts, our photo booth, details of the rehearsal, my shot list, our Friday sports day and more so I hope you like all things wedding as much as I do!

I had four close friends who graciously agreed to be my bridesmaids and I am so lucky they all agreed to stand next to me on my big day. I went to university with all four of them and two were also on the swim team with me. We have so many wonderful photos together from our Florida wedding that it was hard to pick but I have rounded up some of my favorites. I found an email I sent my bridesmaids in January 2021 that said “We have decided the wedding colors are white and navy (with pops of gold and natural greenery) and Mark is wearing a navy tux. Thus, we picked navy for the bridesmaids and as I mentioned below 4 of the 5 dresses I ordered came and I tried them all on. I have a favorite which I noted in the powerpoint (this was not a joke) and gave you guys some thoughts. (Excuse the lighting and makeup free posing, just wanted to give you guys a sense of them on a real person in addition to the model photos) I think any of them would work but would prefer you four pick one and all get the same one (not mixing and matching).

Below you can find the four dresses – all BHLDN Bridesmaids Dresses from Anthropologie – that I asked my bridesmaids to pick from. I never planned on posting these but figured it would be helpful to anyone looking. The lighting is a bit weird but they are all the same color, Midnight, and from left to right; Montreal Crepe Maxi Dress, Ashland Dress, Marceau High-Low Crepe Dress, and the Caron V-Neck Crepe Dress. Ultimately given my preference and the four bridesmaids voting they went with the Montreal Crepe Maxi Dress which was described as, “sleek and sophisticated crepe dress featuring a high-neck and deep slit.” And while I do not recall writing this I said that this one is my favorite – the crepe material felt nice and would travel well / not crease.

Take a look at these beautiful bridesmaids who were all wearing Pearl Dangle Earring, carrying Something Bloomed bouquets, their hair and makeup was done by artists from Charlotte Phinney, and they all wore nude shoes of their choosing.
