I spent the weekend in Charleston, South Carolina and it was a magical 72 hours. Friends from across the United States flew in to celebrate and I felt very much like a bride. To say I took a few photos of my Charleston bachelorette is an understatement and while some never need to see the light of day quite a few came out great. The long weekend was more about walking tours and brunches rather than crazy nights out and semi-dressed gentleman but still a blast.
Now that my friends and I are in our 30’s the weekend, especially given my jet lag, was exactly what I was hoping for and more. I had plans to wear a few gorgeous white dresses but as many of you may know when you order for a site that ships from China you can never be sure you will get your things in time. With less than two days until I left I did an emergency order from Amazon Prime and love this pictured above. Take a look at some of my favorite photos from my Charleston bachelorette weekend:
Touring Rainbow Row, thirteen colorful historic houses on East Bay Street in downtown Charleston
With friends at the Pineapple Fountain in Charleston
Butterfly on Pink Flowers at the Battery
McLeod Plantation, a former slave plantation, run by Charleston County Parks
Friday drag night show at the gay bar Dudleys on Ann
We had so much great food over the weekend it was hard to pick just one meal but this grilled Swordfish at hotspot FIG was next level!
The apartment was full decorated with so many beautiful details, including these !

Overall a great Charleston bachelorette weekend and really made me feel like a bride-to-be. The wedding is next month and there are dozens of things still to do but it is very excited that October 30th I finally get to put on my white dress and say I do!

Those bride balloons are too cute, how ever did they blow up all those balloons?
Really cute and clever idea and set the tone for a really great weekend.

Love, love and did I say love that city.
You certainly got the full color that it has to offer. So much history, so many lessons, good and bad.
I am sure you ladies rocked it everywhere you went. Girlfriends are sooo important.
Glad you had fun.

Wow. Looks like you had a blast with your besties. Love all of the outfits. Charleston is a fun place for a bachelorette party. The walking tour of all those historical homes and places is so much fun. Last bachelorette party I ran for my best friend we had a stripper of course and the bride and I ended up turning the tables and took advantage of the stripper. I stayed an extra night and I had more fun with the stripper. Bachelorette parties are so much fun. Next one for me is mdi 2022 in Las Vegas for another close friend. I am the planner and I will have some fun events for her and the rest of the party.
