Hello September! My favorite season is Spring but my favorite month is September, it is birthday month! Mark and I were chatting about our initial reactions about each order when we first met and thought it was the most absurd thing he’d ever heard when I said I had a birthday month. but I do.
This year I have something bigger to countdown to but it’s a fun thing to look forward to as the days get shorter and colder. And if you thought my August was busy my August was busy just wait until you hear about my September. I am starting in Croatia, then back to England, and then off to Charleston for a few days. Oh wait, and that’s only until mid September. Then I’m back to England with to birthday a week later and then it’s off to Paris the following weekend to celebrate my compleaños and then Mark’s. Whew, a bit tiring even just typing that but it’s going to be awesome! And because countdowns are fun:
5 more days of my Croatia trip
14 to my bachelorette
26 days until my birthday
30 days we are off to Paris
35 until Mark’s birthday
59 days until our wedding (next month, Eek)
115 days til Christmas
And among all these fun things I have a blog post planned for you every weekday this month, hello September indeed! Now before I sign off and go enjoy my boat day in Split if anyone has suggestions of what I should get Mark as a birthday gift I’m all ears!

Can’t believe you know how many days until Christmas… you really make me laugh/chuckle sometimes. Too cute.
I have already done some of my Christmas shopping already. I love when I see something unexpectedly and have that ahaa moment that so and so would really love this what ever it is. So much more meaningful when I can tell them when and where I spotted it and thought of them.

Happy early birthday Kelly. I was telling my boyfriend about your month long celebration for your birthday which I copied although I am starting with two weeks so that I don’t freak him out.
We have a couple of fun things planned for mine and he promised me that he would surprise me with one of his own for me.

Paris for your birthdays. How fun and nice that you can split the middle of your birthdays and have a magical way to celebrate. I know you love Paris and remember well that blog post with you standing on one of those structures and there was no one in sight and you said you were freezing. Some of my favorite shots of you.

I like the idea of a whole birthday month and seem to remember that from past years.
One can never celebrate too much or “cheers” enough with drinks or just have great things to look forward too.

Wow. I see you had a busy August and even a more fun September. Hope you are enjoying your boat ride today. Boyfriends birthday just passed and we partied the whole weekend. Can’t wait for this weekend. Sunday bikini party and Monday Labor Day birthday party/cookout.
