Yesterday I posted on Instagram, “365 days ago I said yes to the easiest question I have ever been asked. And today? Yes Mark, I still want to marry you. A million times yes. True, this engagement is a bit longer than we planned but the last year has been wonderful in its own way and the best part was that I got to do it with you. Can’t wait for October, I’ll be the one in the white dress.” And this could not be more true. On June 13th last year I accepted Mark’s proposal and a few days later I shared my engagement story which was one of the most popular posts of 2020.
It is proof that he knows me so well that he popped the question at a gorgeous castle, one we went back to in April for the Hever Castle Tulip Festival. This past year has certainly been a bit odd and besides our St. Lucia and Italy trips I have very few photos of Mark and I from Summer 2020 to Summer 2021. That said, I have rounded up some of favorites from the last year for our engagementversary and included a brief description beneath!

Yeah girl. I know, I didn’t dress up as much I would have liked in the last year but boyfriend and I got creative on that front. I at least dress up one day a week for work and we try to incorporate dress up time when we go out for date night. Sometimes I dress up just to go shopping. As for your wedding this time nothing will get in your way. I can tell You and camera shy Mark love each other very much. I heard that the UK will not fully reopen till sometime in July. Yuck. So does that mean that you can’t travel anywhere outside the UK.
