Welcome to white out week! As we head into a long week – Memorial Day in the US and a Bank Holiday here in the UK – I am dedicating this week to the best of Summer white. Speaking of Summer, Sparkles and Shoes turns nine in early August which even though is not an “big birthday” I still consider it a milestone. I am mentioning this because sometimes the content on the blog has shifted over the years but my love of white dresses has not. You have seen them in a number of last Fashion Friday features including this Off the Shoulder Dress from 2017, this White Eyelet Embroidery Dress from last year, and this white lace dress I shared a few times last year, including in London and in St Lucia.
Despite loving these for ages I have my eye on even more this season. Why? As a bride-to-be there are a number of occasions where this could come in handy including a bridal shower, bachelorette, and rehearsal dinner. Now take this with a grain of salt, even though we delayed our wedding back nearly six months COVID is still running rampant globally. But let’s keep our fingers crossed some of these events will still be able to happen. And now back to white dresses all of which are under $200:

My favorite is the middle one with the peekaboo cut outs at the top. Very sophisticated looking. I’m usually not a fan of that look but those are spot on.

White dresses scream warm weather to me especially when I pair it with my favorite high heel sandals or my new travel tan sandals from Steve Madden. I wore a little white dress last week when I went out with boyfriend.
