Really Love My … Aztec Print Dress

Moving to England was probably one of the best things I could have done to cut down my wardrobe – I decided pack up my entire life into five suitcases to move across the ocean and that made me really reevaluate my wardrobe, shoes included. one of the things i tended to notice is that the majority of the things that made the “keep” pile were the more expensive investment items that I had bought full price after careful consideration and that I wore in frequent rotations. The “donate” pule was more things i had found on a good deal / discount and got great joy in finding in that moment but when getting dressed for work or going out, I never reached for. One of the only exemptions to this distinction is this great Aztec print dress.

In the Fall of 2015 I visited the Gilt Warehouse Sale in NYC and picked up quite a few items. In that post I mentioned that the gold snakeskin flats were my best find but nearly four years later I can tell you without a doubt it is this jersey dress. It has been around the world with me and I love the comfortable fabric, stylist pattern, and slight a-line fit. Take a look at all of the different ways I have styled it and places I have worn it:
