White Lace for Evening

I’ve always loved getting dressed up to go out and even when you live with someone, it’s nice to put In that bit of extra effort some times!  While on holiday I took a dress I featured over the Summer and instead of red and blue accessories for the 4th of July,  I paired it with black and a bit of metallic to take this white, high neck midi dress from day to night. 

This pouch is a funny one – I had to go way, way back in my emails to actually find the name of this and it is called the Folded Again Gia and I actually purchased it for $25 while I was a senior in university!  As you can imagine it not available anywhere online (not even the resellers like Poshmark or Ebay) but I am nearly positive it was originally touted as a cosmetic pouch which I do use it as but it also doubles as a soft sided clutch like I am styling it here.  All in all I think it adds a nice pop against this White Lace for evening:

And while this look was for date night I have learned that my fiancé REALLY likes to have some chill /down time in his day.  I bring this up because I could have asked him to take these photos and he 100% would have (he’s done a great job on previous Fashion Friday’s here, here, and here) but I knew he wanted some time to relax before we went to dinner so I had an interesting half hour propping my DSLR on rocks, chairs, and fences to try and get these shots.  Could you tell?
