Welcome to the start of a new week and the latest edition of my Really Love My fashion series. Today I am sharing a closer look at one of my most worn pieces of jewelry, my Kate Spade New York Scallops Pendant Necklace, and a dozen ways I have styled it. But before we get into that, can we just take a moment to note that February is more than half over? After a January that seemed like it never ended this is certainly a welcome reprieve! But now back to the necklace!
When I purchased this piece from Shopbop in the Fall of 2019 I read the details quite carefully as I had quite a few gold necklaces already. The website actually suggests it is a great layering piece but I usually wear it solo and it is quite versatile, especially as the lobster clasp allows it to be four different lengths. This dainty gold plated piece is perfect for everyday with a slight bit of sparkle from the Cubic zirconia at the bottom edge of this Kate Spade scallop pendant.
You have seen it in these posts: Scalloped Trim Dress at the Hofburg Palace, as well as Polka Dots at the Royal Crescent from our trip to Bath, Emerald Maxi Dress for a Tropical Date Night in St Lucia, and two post from at home White Eyelet Embroidery Dress and Spinning at Home. Take a look at these and a few others:
And I actually wore it on the day we got engaged, which you can see in the first photo though the focus was definitely about the ring in that post! (Which also reminds me that I really do need to share that recap of Hever Castle.)
What do you think of this Kate Spade Scallop Pendant?

It is amazing how much this catches the light even though it is really tiny and dainty.
