Happy Friday and first weekend of September (for all the American’s, happy Labor Day Weekend). I featured this emerald maxi dress almost two years ago on Sparkles and Shoes and even though it is a focal piece I have styled it differently plus the change of scenery – a great London versus a lush St. Lucia – makes it look very different to me! While it is a maxi the cutouts below the bust and around the calves make it very breezy.
Even though the dress has a lot going between the color, the necklace, the cutouts, the buttons, and the detailing I still wanted to add a little something. Thus, in addition to plain pearly studs and a dainty gold necklaceI decided it would be fun to pair it with white heels which are some of my favorite warm weather shoes. Plus with Fall fast approaching I wanted to make sure I was able to wear them at least a few more times before they become unseasonable again!

It is crazy too see how much a background changes a look (and even the color the dress looks!)
