Happy Friday! Thank you for all of the kind words on yesterday’s post – I am more thankful than you could ever know. Glad we are done with another week and the last one of January – because January is just the Monday’s of months. And even though it is nearly the end of the month it is still going to be very cold in London for months to come. That means layers are crucial when going outside, even if it is not going to be for very long. Speaking of going outside, I know I do not talk about Mark very frequently but one thing I will tell you about him today is that he drinks A LOT of milk. Like I mean a crazy amount – whether that is in the morning with his protein shake, in his tea, or with granola – there is a lot of milk consumed in our house.
I bring this up today because going to the grocery store is one of the only reasons you are allowed out of your house during this London lockdown and between the perhisableness of milk and the small European fridges, we need milk quite frequently. This would be a look I would wear for a casual WFH day and also to run over to the shop for the essentials. Take a look ant this navy and white look feature this crazy puffer and cowl neck stripes top:
Jacket | Upcycled Lightweight Puffer Jacket Top | Gap Softspun Cowl-Neck Stripes Top
Earrings | SUGARFIX by BaubleBar Hoop Stud Tassel Earrings Lip Color | Too Faced Melted Matte in Sell Out
Nails | ImPRESS Press-on Nails Gel Manicure Ring | Baublebar Mini Alidia Ring
Jeans | Good American Good Legs High Waist Skinny Jeans. Boots | Franco Sarto Daya Knee High Boot
And while the top might be my favorite part about this look I did want to share a bit more about the jacket. It is from one of the new lines from Gap where this puffer is made with 100% recycled fill, shell and lining – making great use of 12 previously discarded plastic bottles. As fast fashion wreaks havoc on the environment it is always good to think sustainable!

Cute jacket and I really like that it isn’t heavy or bulky looking.
Some of the puffer jackets are just so bulky looking and feeling for me that it turns me off of them even though I know that they can really keep me warm.
This one looks great on you Kelly.

The earrings are my favorite part of this look
They really pop when you have just the sweater on. Very fun to swish about I bet.

Sometimes I get nervous about buying white outerwear but this one is really cute on you. Might have to just take the plunge.

– had no idea that you could make a puffer jacket out of plastic bottles, that is so cool!
