As we finish the first week of March the calendar still says Winter but it feels like Spring might finally be coming. Every day the sun sets later and later -today is at 5:48pm but thanks to daylight savings and how far North London is that will be 7:48pm by the end of the month. And that makes me very, very happy. What also makes me happy is being able to go outside without a down jacket on. Sure, in the mornings I often still need gloves but when the highs get close to 60 60°F or (15°C) it feels like there is hope.
And besides the fact that this is just a very positive change it also sets the stage for today’s outfit. I have been wearing white jeans all Winter (you have seen them here, here, and here) I am slowly pulling out some of my brighter colors to match the warmer weather and sunnier disposition. I still have a few more Winter looks coming your way but this bright Kelly green sweater and bejewelled headband scream Spring, don’t you think? It has a straight silhouette with a relaxed fit and I like how it offsets a tight skinny jean. Plus if you have been around Sparkles & Shoes a while you will know I am a huge fan of machine washable clothes and this 100% Cotton green crewneck sweater certainly fits the bill. Take a look:

Get more green girl, but this hue of green works well with your dark hair. I don’t think that lighter green would work as well.
