Thank you for all of your kind words on the first iteration of our new flat tour featuring our Living Room. I am going to say it again here, I am SO thankful that we moved in just before the quarantine – the new flat is so much bigger than my old one and it has been a good pet project to decorate the space while we have so much downtime. Oh, and my new roommate is pretty great too – it would have been quite lonely to be social distancing without any company!
Today’s tour of our apartment continues with a look at our master bedroom. It was an interesting space to decorate as the room is not massive an in traditional UK style, there are no closets. Thus, we have two giant wardrobes which take a good amount of the floor plan and I wanted to make sure to bring in color and make it feminine but not too girly. I am quite pleased with the balance we managed to strike and to be honest, I am still debating adding statement wallpaper behind our bed, like this Botany Banana one! Instead, in collaboration with Photowall I opted for this framed print of Waterlilies by Claude Monet. They have hundreds of options to choose from though, you should take a look and you can use code sparklesandshoes2021 for 25% off! And now my bedroom tour continues:

What do you think of my bedroom tour?
I am very impressed with your new bedroom layout. I love the natural light and all of mirrors. I wish my bedroom had the outdoor views. My bedroom is in a courtyard. Not much to see. Perfect venue for bedroom sports if you know what I mean.
Go HOYAS! Noticed Jack the bulldog in the photos. Great to see you are keeping Georgetown alive and well with you in London.
Nice watercolor by Monet, one of my favorite artists of all time. Wish I could walk back in time and get to meet him. Read a lot of books on how he came upon his sights/inspiration spots and how he was not well regarded in his first few art shows. Took a look at the website and will be ordering one to make me smile every morning.
Just checked out the link for the Waterlilies by Claude Monet from Photowall and what a great value. I have a few spots that need some brightening up and am going to purchase a few pieces.
I also really like the curtain holder that you got, really different looking.
Your necklace wall is so clever. I am going to have to copy it. I am constantly trying to untangle mine and have no good way to store them so most of the time I just give up and skip it.
What did you use to hang them up with. I guess it also doubles as wall art and would make me smile every time I walk by.
Been looking for some special wall paper for my hall powder room and several her look really promising. So different from the usual books that I have been looking at recently. Will have to pick one and order soon. Fun having something to look forward to during this nasty virus spell.
Your place looks great Kelly, love the clean white lines of things. Kuddos.
Wow I’ve never heard of Photowall. That framed print looks great there, thanks for sharing the discount code!
You have ESP, I am having a baby in a bit and have been looking for ideas for the nursery and pow, I clicked on the wallpaper link and there it was. The perfect paper or the nursery right there. I just showed it to my husband and we will be ordering it tonight.
You saved us so much time and hassle, thank you so much. This is incredible.
BTW, loved what you did with your new flat.
Wonderful bedroom tour. You have such a nice touch and I really like what you have done with the place.
The Waterlilies by Claude Monet print is one of my favorite touches in your flat. I never miss an exhibit when they are featuring paintings by Monet and I will have to take a look and order one. I have a spot in my flat that I need a piece of art for and I am sure I can find something that will fit the bill.
Wish me luck.
