It may come as a surprise to you that one of my favourite rings is a gold snake because in real life I HATE snakes. (Not as much as I hate bats but snakes are right up there). However, there are so many pretty ways that animals can feature into jewelery. And I am not speaking about dog tags or things with animal prints – I am talking about actual animals – and things in tortoise shell do not count either.
Along with snakes you can find cute pieces featuring elephants, turtles, lions, bears, and birds. And yes, I did say birds – birds might seem weird at first but that including hummingbirds, owls, bumblebees and dragonflies which are all popular jewerly options. I do want to be clear though, there is a fine line between tacky and chic animal jewerly but these are the pieces that I think make the cut. And some options get incredibly expensive, like the Cartier Panthere de Cartier collections with rings that are close to $5,000 each! Here are more reasonable ones priced between $15 and $150:
1 | Tiny Tigger Silver Chain Bracelet. 2 | Lily Rose Flying Pig Necklace
3 | Bird Stud Earrings from Daisy Jewellery. 4 | Panther Crystal Earrings
5 | Sterling Silver Cats Ears Adjustable Stacking Ring. 6 | Gold Plated Snake Ring
7 | Gold Bumble Bee Necklace 8 | Silver Elephant Origami Bracelet
9 | Rose Gold Bear Bracelet 10 | Alex Monroe Sea Turtle Pendant Necklace, Silver
11 | Olivia Burton Animal Motifs 3D Bee Leather Strap Watch in Grey 12 | Gold Lion Head Necklace
It was very hard for me to not list a dozen more because there are so many adorable options avaiable this season and it was also hard to not put at least half of these items in my cart as they are too cute! (Though perhaps I should revise my birthday wishlist). Speaking of, if you are looking options like the Estella Bartlett Bee Pendant Necklace and Earrings already come packaged in a cute box set!
What do you think of animal jewerly?
