Floral Print Jumpsuit in London

For YEARS I avoided jumpsuits and it was only a few weeks ago  while wearing this floral print jumpsuit I realized why.   They remind me so much of the full body swimsuits I used to race in when I swam competitively. Those things were a nightmare – they took up to 20 minutes to put on, they nearly suffocated you, and they were also impossible to get off.  Granted, they did make you fast which is the reason we wore them (and they have since been deemed illegal in international competition because they made us too fast), but what I have mentally gotten over is that jumpsuits are not the same.  

True, they do make going to the bathroom a bit difficult but I love the idea of a one-piece and go (hence my affinity to dresses) but a jumpsuit fills this same need.   Recently I got this fun floral print jumpsuit and you may recall you saw it in my roundup post a few weeks ago.  I wore it on a casual Sunday strolling around London and running a few errands, perfect for a not sweltering Summer day here in London.  This is how I styled it:

And ironically, nearly the exact same accessories as this post three and a half years ago!  Proof that my style, while evolving somewhat, has not completely changed since I moved to England!
