Welcome to another edition of Fashion Friday! I have never owned a mesh turtleneck and this designer one that Cabi Clothing sent me has been an excellent start. The pattern of this top is called Flower Flash and there are so many fun elements – I especially love the combination of the double-layered body and single-layered sleeves. It also has thumb holes like some of my favorite workout pullovers along with a zip back to make getting dressed super easy plus anything with 6% Spandex is usually a win in my book.
One the website they describe the pattern as “black-ground floral” but that’s not quite accurate – it really is all the colors including black, gray, pink, peach, and even a bit of gold. I wanted to take these photos outside but on the day I wore this top it was SOOO cold. Thus I found an adorable lobby of our hotel this past weekend in Salisbury and Mark helped me snap some photos. Take a look at how I styled this mesh turtleneck:

As I mentioned, I really did try to take photos outside and I thought Stonehenge would be the perfect backdrop but alas, that did not workout. The weather last weekend could not have been more on-brand British if it tried. It was cold, gray, windy and lightly misting so that when we went to take photos I could not bare to take my coat off, rather, I wish I had gloves, a wolly hat, and my parka. (And this jacket is the As that made my best purchases of 2021 post.
What do you think of this mesh turtleneck?

How does it feel on you. Looks cute but is it soft? Hard to tell from the photos.
I can tell that you feel pretty wearing it. Novel idea too.

Hmmm I just might have to get one for my girlfriend. She will be so impressed that I spotted a new trend but will have to fess up that it came from your blog.
I think she will really like it as she can wear it with so many colored pants and I bet even a black skirt? Do you agree?

I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard of a mesh turtleneck. I have to be on the lookout, but it looks great on you.
