Crazy About My Cobalt Wallet

I think it is always funny when you are getting to know someone what their quirks are – little habits, personal preferences, or things that make them tick.  For instance, I prefer blue pens over black or I prefer to sleep with a white noise machine. Another quirk about me is I hate folding cash.  What do I mean by that? I can not have a wallet that folds the bills – they have to stand up straight and they have not be bent in anyway.  Thus, continental wallets are my jam.  For years I had C. Wonder or Kate Spade versions and you may recall but last March I wrote a post about needing a new wallet.  I can not tell you how close I was to adding one of those pretty options to my cart but for some reason I held off and I am so glad I did.  At the end of June last Summer I stumbled upon a beautiful Prada wallet that was too good to pass up.

For more than a year I have been using my limited edition Prada saffiano cut-corners wallet and I absolutely love it.  Everything from the blue saffiano leather to the cobalt lining and the double snap closure.  And in an utterly ridiculous (but perfect for me way) there are two bill slots where I usually keep Euros in one and British pounds in the other.  And, of course, it is a a continental wallet measuring 3.5 inches by 7.5 inches which means none of my bills, regardless of currency have to be bent.

I purchased this used in 2018 but Saffiano Leather Wallet Is such a classic that it is part of the Prada permanat collection adn usually always avalibael on their website.  If you are like me though and looking for a deal I have spotted some great ones on  Vestiaire and on the RealReal.  Take a look at this pretty lady:
