Happy 7th Birthday Sparkles and Shoes!

Happy, Happy Birthday Sparkles and Shoes! I am interrupting the usual Fashion Friday but hey, this is my blog and today is it’s birthday – that as a good enough of a reason as any to break the rules! Today is the 7th birthday of my blog.  It has been six years since I first hit publish on my first post and an incredible amount has changed.  I now have a great job instead of an entry level one, I now live in a foreign country instead of 30 minutes from where I grew up, and I am no longer a self proclaimed bad writer – heck, I have published nearly half a million words at this point – practice makes perfect, or at least makes you better.

This is the 1,685th blog post I have written and I do not think there are many other things I have done that many times except for laps in the pool. I have written about everything my heart has desired with an average 4.6 posts per week over the last seven years.  With the exception of dating, religion, and politics nearly everything else has been fare game and I have been typing away and thankfully, you all have been reading!  To be fair I did also recently have a big update with my job and while I usually have shared that I am keeping this one quiet for the time being!  Until then, I hope you appreciate these pictures with my massive 7 balloon that I took in a very windy field over the weekend – they DID NOT want to cooperate!
