I have shared with you all that in a few weeks I am heading to Bali (eek, yay, so exciting!) but what I did not mention is that I am book ending that trip with two additional stops – Doha and Signapore. And that brings me to part of the reason I am sharing today’s post I was flipping through photos and realized I never shared with you the rest of my Morocco photos and I would like to think I have some pretty good ones! Plus, before I go visit the desert again (I am planning on going Sand duning while I am in Qatar) I thought I should share the final set of pictures from the last time I was in the Sahara.
Now this trip on camels was arguably not as exciting as when we rode them out into the Sahara for our overnight camping experience but for those visiting Marrakech for only a few days a a sunset camel ride in the desert palm groves of La Palmeraie is a wonderful option. And while I may have ridden a camel in my youth I did not recall it so let me tell you they are bumpy- slow, and move slower than a normal man walking – for some reason I thought they would be like riding horses. But definitely a cool experience, take a look!
Would you ride a camel?

This definitely looks like something I would want to do!

What a memorable experience.

What a fabulous experience and you look like a movie star in these photos and so do the camels. They look so clean and the colors are so vibrant. Did you get to feed them?
Leslie says
I would ride one for sure. It is on my bucket list. Not sure that I will get to do it in such a picturesque spot though.
Only you can accessorize a camel ride with local jewelry.
Fun, Fun!

Looks like so much fun. I have always wanted to ride a camel. Was it bumpy? How tall are they?
Did you see them eat? They have the funniest tongues.
