Style Icon: Priyanka Chopra

Welcome back to the Sparkles and Shoes Style Icon series.  My last feature, Princess Kate, was the 40th installation in the series and I am excited to share the next woman of impeccable style, on and off the red carpet, Priyanka Chopra.   If you know me well you know I have a soft spot for my birthday and I was first introduced to her a year an a half ago when her TV show Quantico premiered on my birthday. I am all for girl power and Priyanka is certainly breaking down walls, one very fashionable step at a time.

 When pulling together shots for this post so many descriptions listed her as “Bollywood Actresses Priyanka Chopra” but after two years in the spotlight I think she just gets the label of regular actress, and a good one at that!  (Plus any girl who this consistently has hand-on-hip or the skinny arm pose down is one after my own heart – it is actually legitimately difficult to find a picture of her not in this pose on a red carpet!)  Here are nine of my favorite looks she has worn:
