Recently I have been told my hair is an awkward, not brunette but not quite blonde shade. True, my hair has sported a variety of hues over the last dozen years but this is the lightest I can remember it being. In every photo it looks a different color – sometimes near platinum and sometimes a medium to dark brown and one friend last week called it bronde. I had not heard of “bronde” before she said it but after a quick Google Search – that brought up more than half a million results – I started looking at beautiful pictures Cara Delevingne, Jessica Biel, Lily Aldridge and Gisele. Okay, sold, my hair is bronde!
It is true, I am not a celebrity and mine color was not achieved by a master hair stylist. On the contrary this in-between color seems to be a frequent topic of conversation and only half the people I speak with, it seems, mention it in a positive way. To all of the critics, thank you for your interest. A combination of sunshine, chlorine, and John Frieda’s Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Lightening Conditioner twice a week has turned my hair this shade and I think I will keep it this way for a bit :). Here’s to bronde!

I’m a natural bronde and the shade looks amazing on you! I have to ask, do you use any oils or specific shampoos? Your hair is so shiny!
