As I start to cook more and photograph my favorite easy recipes for my blog it has become very apparent that I do not own any cute silverware. Sure my plain silver 48-piece set does the trick but it is no where near fancy. Two of my favorite bloggers who share their recipes, Alyssa of the Runway Chef and Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere always have beautiful silverware to complement the delectable dishes they have made and I want to get on board.
I feel like nice silverware flatware is a sign that I may actually be growing up – like when I asked for a high powered vacuum for my birthday. Real presents for real adults, womp womp. But on to the cute things, I am in love with some of these flatware sets, especially the gold flatware, but why is it so expensive?

If I invest in nice silverware – and let’s just keep it real for a moment, I am going to call it silverware because even though Google tells me it’s more commonly referred to as flatware that seems forced – I am bound to only buy a five-piece set because let’s be honest, those rose gold spoons are just too pretty to eat off of plus I would want to keep them nice and shiny for my next recipe.
Do you own any statement silverware?

Thanks for including me girl! The right silverware really does make all the difference for a food photo. A little secret- I thrift a lot of my photography ones at vintage stores or Goodwills (outside of the city) 😀

I’ve never seen rose gold silverware before and now I’m obsessed! I just inherited a tea set filled with white china that has gold accents and one of these silverware sets would go perfect! Thanks for sharing 🙂
