Square Throw Pillows

In writing this last night I almost wanted to stop the post right here, I found the strength to continue. (Mainly because I had already created the collage). In my current apartment I have a small tan couch that I do not use that often but if I did, and perhaps in my new apartment I will,  throw pillows are key.  I am sure by the time I actually move in late Spring you all are going to know what my apartment will look like you won’t even want a tour.  But until then, you will continue to get sneak peaks.

I may be jumping the gun a bit on this one because finding furniture to fit the space will certainly come first and then decorating will come second but after finding four pillows I absolutely fell in love with this week on Pinterest I decided they needed their own post.  (They also made me think of naps, which was very dangerous) I love the idea of mixing patterns and colors but am still traditional in that I want my throw pillows all to be the same shape.

I will definitely go for an odd number, like three or five, rather than more traditional pairs, especially as they will not match, however, I will be going for a few big, statement pillows.  Many interior designers say that big pillows create a cleaner look and that is something I am definitely going to be striving for.   Right now these are my 15 favorite throw pillows, obviously not all together:
