Happy Birthday Mom!

Yes, it is Tuesday. Yes, on Tuesday’s I post about accessories.  No, you will not see any accessories highlighted here today.  Today’s post is completely dedicated to my mother. My rock. She woman who brought me into this world and has stood by me every step of the way.

Growing up my mom was tremendously involved in my life and I was so lucky to have her.  It was not until much later that I realized kids wanted to come to my house because of what neat playdates my mom put together, how creative she was for every holiday and I was so proud to walk into school every year and tell my friends that MY MOM was going to be a class mom.  She is part of every memory I have, from the highest highs to the lowest lows.  My mom was, and still is, my biggest cheerleader from my tap recitals and more swim meets than probably either of us wish to remember to the progress I am making in the “real world”!  I always knew I could count on her to be my biggest fan and number one cheerleader in any endeavor.  Mom, I really appreciate the last 23 years!

Now that I graduated from college and live in New York City I do not get to see my mom everyday and since we are separated by more than 1,000 miles our visits are not nearly as frequent as I would like.  Being able to spend time with my mom makes holidays and vacations even better and I always know she is only a phone call away.  My brother and I are lucky to have such an amazing woman in our lives!
