Welcome to the New and Improved Sparkles and Shoes! 
With the increase in the popularity of my blog and the amount of time I spend with this project of mine I have decided to change up the layout. As I made the majority of the changes myself it took me a while to figure out exactly what I wanted I am happy to share them with you now. There are five changes I would like to point out; the layout, the header, the nav bar, my about page, and the opportunity to advertise. I will go through the five changes  and I would love to know your thoughts! First, here is the old layout next to the new:

There are many things I like about the new layout but my favorite is the more sophisticated color scheme, the majority of the elements on my blog are now hot pink and silver/grey.  I recreated the header with the same font, I love Edwardian Script, but with a silver glitter background and, for now, removed the shoe.  The pink is a bit darker on purpose, as I color matched it with the pink in the shirt I am wearing.   The second major change was the navigation bar, which now features drop downs in three categories About, Fashion, and Blog Series.  I am a very Type-A organized person so it makes me happy that I was able to work with an amazing programmer Prateek Singla to create a drop down menu so you can navigate around Sparkles & Shoes in a more simple way. (I also worked with him to create the social media buttons and links embedded into the photo, how cool is that?) 
Finally, I am over the moon to announce that you can now advertise on Sparkles & Shoes!  This is a big step for me but after months of debating and truly analyzing all of my options I have decided to offer a variety of opportunities.   I highly encourage you to read through my advertising page and please, as always, send me an email if you are interested in working together in any way!  I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you enjoy the changes I have made!

    I love the new look! And those drop down menus are amazing! I might want to look into those! I feel like there’s a lot I want in my nav bar but I don’t want it over corwded. Way to go!
