My birthday was a week ago and I have to say that this year was a tremendous success!  I am sad my favorite holiday is winding down but I got some beautiful presents from my terrifically generous friends and family.  The presents I received this year really ranged across all of my interest:  My best friend from high school got me a cookbook as I am now trying to cook more, my roommate got me a beautiful Kate Spade necklace to add to my jewelry collection, and a college friend got me a wonderful travel kit from Sephora for all of my journeys near and far.
