Aquaphor

As the weather gets colder here in New York City I turn to my hands down favorite product- Auquaphor!  What a lifesaver! Aquaphor is a petrolatum based ointment manufactured by Eucerin, and while it is similar to Vaseline it has some extra ingredients which makes it infinitely better.  I use ” Healing Ointment” and while it is advertised as an effective treatment for minor cuts, scrapes, burns and dry and cracked skin but I primarily use it for my lips.  As a competitive swimmer it was one of the only things that was able to protect my skin from the very drying effects of chlorine.  Now, even as an ex-swimmer I still use the product every day, multiple times per day.  It makes life so much better.  I have one at my desk, one on my nightstand, one in my purse and about six or seven little ones that go with me everywhere. I LOVE Aquaphor!
