RuMe Bags

11/17/12 | favorite product, Rume

Post Hurricane Sandy I really needed to stock up on groceries and instead of bringing my oversize Costco bags which get inexplicably heavy and are hard to maneuver on the Subway I brought my RuMe Bags. I love me my RuMe Bags for so many reasons but top three are they light weight, they can hold 50 lbs, and they come is so many cute designs.

Since RuMe does not have any stores (they do sell them at Eatly, Whole Foods, and Zabar’s though! and of course online)  the closest I have been able to get to see all of their products was their booth at the New York Gift Fair at the Javitz Center last summer which was amazing.

After this, when I was Italy with my mom last summer, we both rocked our Rume Bags
(here seen getting instructions from the Polizia in front of the Duemo in Florence)

Their medium tote is the perfect size for me and these are my favorite bags all of which are under $10!!

one / two / three / four / five

Great Company. Great Product. Enough Said.

Which number do you like the most?

Love the bags, especially the cool prints. They did a ban on plastic bags in my neighborhood so i’m always trying to look for grocery bags when I go shopping 🙂

What an awesome concept and product! I’ve just been using the boring green bags from our supermarket. They hold a fair bit but nowhere as near as fabulous as those! Love it!

I like that these totes have a shape to them, since most of these types of totes don’t. Plus all of the designs are really cute!
