Even after years of running a blog and curating content across Instagram and Pinterest, I’m still very much influenced myself. One of my earliest style inspirations, Wendy from Wendy’s Lookbook, recently posted a pair of sandals that caught my eye. When I realized they were Crocs sandals, I hesitated—like many of us, I’ve long associated Crocs with the chunky clogs my daughter Lily wears to daycare, not something chic for everyday wear. But curiosity won out, and I decided to give them a try.
Enter the Miami Toe Loop Sandals. I ordered them about a month ago and, honestly, they’ve barely left my feet since. I wear them several times a week, which for me, is the ultimate sign that a purchase was worth it.
The sandals come in a few colors, but Wendy’s metallic gold pair was the one that spoke to me. The gold strikes the perfect balance: stylish enough for a summer dinner out, but not too precious for errands or playground duty. I typically wear a size 8.5 US, and since the site recommended sizing up, I went with a 9. The fit is spot on.

Now, let’s talk design. Crocs calls them slides, though I’d argue they’re more structured than that. They feature a subtle square toe—something I usually avoid but surprisingly love in this pair. The soft, slightly padded toe loop makes them comfortable, even though I’ve historically found toe-loop sandals to be irritating. And while there’s a gentle wedge, it’s so subtle that I’d still call these flats, just with a tiny lift for a bit of polish.
What makes these Crocs sandals stand out is their versatility. The drop-in Croslite™ footbed makes them incredibly lightweight and cushioned, meaning I can spend an entire day running around in them without regretting my choice. They’ve already been worn to the splash pad with Lily, on grocery store runs, to the pool, and even for a casual evening out. They’re the rare pair of shoes that genuinely works for both “mom life” and moments when I want to feel a bit more put together.
If, like me, you’ve sworn you’d never buy Crocs, these might just change your mind. They’re proof that Crocs isn’t only about clogs anymore—they’re making stylish, wearable shoes that you’ll reach for daily. And as far as summer footwear goes, the Miami Toe Loop Sandals are a win.

Too cute mom and baby in age appropriate crocs.
Are yours as comfy as they look? Nice that they can get wet and they don’t look clunky.
Glad they are making an adult brand that is a bit more stylish.

Crocs are expanding. Toe ring sandals are not my style but they look nice on you. I have the pink pair of the t-strap Miami Thong sandal. I like the little lift that these cute sandals provide. These sandals do show off that pedicure. Today’s work from home outfit is a crop top, short floral skirt and flip flops. Tomorrow through Tuesday’s outfits will be bikinis, cover ups, sandals and work out clothes in the morning. 5 day weekend . I have not wore pants since mid May I take the no summer no pants faithfully. Hope you all have a great Labor Day weekend.
